This past spring, ASN joined with
Women in Nephrology
(WIN) to develop a series of webinars designed to help you advance your career. Â In one of these presentations, Dr. Yasmin Davidds, Psy. D, M.C.C.,
and CEO of the Women’s Institute of Negotiation, provides advice on negotiating for leadership success.
The goal of the ASN Kidney STARS program is to stimulate interest in nephrology careers by targeting medical students, residents, and graduate students with an interest in nephrology but who have not yet committed to applying to a fellowship. In addition to tailored events and networking opportunities, this program provides travel support, complimentary registration to attend the ASN Annual Meeting at Kidney Week, and complimentary membership to the society.
The ASN Foundation for Kidney Research (ASN Foundation) has now opened applications for its Career Development Grants, Clinician Educator Grant, and Research Fellowship program. The ASN Foundation funds clinical and basic research and provides grant support to ASN members at various points in their careers.

ASN is now accepting applications for the 2019 Kidney TREKS (Tutored Research and Education for Kidney Scholars) program and for travel support to the 2019 Network of Minority Health Research Investigators (NMRI) Annual Workshop. The deadlines to apply for these exciting programs are Friday, January 18, 2019, at 4:00 p.m. EST and Monday, March 11, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. EST.
