New Website Launched for the Kidney Health Initiative

By Zach Cahill

The Kidney Health Initiative (KHI) recently released a new website to inform the community about its mission, objectives, and membership. The new site also showcases the publications from completed projects since the formation of KHI in 2012.

For the first time, KHI’s research and recommendations are centralized and accessible to kidney health professionals, researchers, patients, and innovators. The redesigned website highlights:

1. Completed Projects

Clinical trial endpoints, trial design, and patient centered development are topics addressed by a variety of projects. Each item on this page includes a synopsis of the issue and direction on how to apply the publication to real world barriers to innovation.

2. Signature Initiatives

These projects demonstrate KHI’s strength at the intersection of patients, industry, and kidney health professionals. Access these pages to apply KHI’s work on dialysis innovation, pediatric clinical trials, and patient centered device development.

3. Publications Library

This section includes Annual Reviews, journal publications and other resources for the community. This page will be regularly updated as projects are completed, and new articles are published.

Learn more about KHI by reviewing the current project portfolio, upcoming events, membership list, volunteer opportunities, community news, and videos featured on the new site. KHI_TwitterLogo.png

Future iterations will include more content that is relevant to the KHI mission, including a clinical trial finder for kidney diseases and a catalog of drugs and devices in development that are focused on improving the lives of people with kidney diseases.

Check the site regularly for news on the process of innovation, upcoming events, and new publications.
