Since its inception in December 2013, the ASN Diversity and Inclusion Work Group has launched a number of successful initiatives: creating an ASN mission, vision, and values statement on diversity and inclusion, transforming collection of demographic information to help inform ASN’s services to its members and the kidney community, adding LGBT representation, and establishing several key partnerships:
