Kenar D. Jhaveri, MD, FASN, Professor of Medicine at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and Associate Chief of the Division of Kidney Disease and Hypertension at Northwell Health, NY, has been selected as Editor-in-Chief of ASN Kidney News.
Kenar D. Jhaveri, MD, FASN, Professor of Medicine at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and Associate Chief of the Division of Kidney Disease and Hypertension at Northwell Health, NY, has been selected as Editor-in-Chief of ASN Kidney News.
The long-time editor of the popular Kidney News column Detective Nephron, Dr. Jhaveri will bring his expertise in clinical nephrology, education, and leadership to ASN’s monthly newsmagazine. Dr. Jhaveri’s experience in editing and leadership began in 2011, when he was selected as inaugural editor of AJKD blog. The blog was the launching platform for NephMadness in 2013, the first online game in medicine. He edited one of the first textbooks in onconephrology and serves on the editorial boards of CJASN, AJKD, Nephrology Dialysis Transplantation, Kidney International, Clinical Kidney Journal, and Journal of Onconephrology.
