ASN and KHI Join White House Efforts to Change the Transplant Landscape

Yesterday the White House announced a coordinated series of important initiatives aimed at improving donor rates, reducing transplant wait times, and changing the landscape for patients in need of organs. As part of these major efforts, ASN has committed the first $7 million towards a Kidney Disease XPRIZE, and KHI will design a roadmap designed to guide the innovations necessary to bring bio-engineered alternatives to dialysis to reality. These contributions by ASN, KHI and others will spur the kind of change needed to improve the lives of millions.
